Since the Litter-Robot 3 Connect changed my life, I was ecstatic to try Whisker’s newest model, the Litter-Robot 4. Just like the original, the updated version is an automatic self-cleaning litter box that connects to WiFi.The red light that is suppose to recognize the cat is not coming on anymore when the cats go in and bc of that (i assume) it’s not cycling anymore. I manually cycle it from the app and it works fine. I’ve been using this robot for a month now and it’s been fine until now. Both cats are well above 7 lbs.

They are working on an update to help with the Offline issues. After 3 Cat Sensor faults, the Litter Robot 4 has a safety feature where it will no longer cycle. To bypass this, you need to press the Reset button in person. There is no Reset button in the app, but you can try Powering Off and Powering On the robot using the app instead. It's my fault for adding too much litter and not resetting the weight sensor. Thanks to OP's comments, I was able to remove some litter, pop the lid, manually rotate the ball, put it back together and the robot finally ran a cycle and is all good now. 2. Share.
